Full Professor / Head of the group

Prof. Jesús Sanmartín-Matalobos is a Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and researcher at iMATUS, currently serving as Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry. His research focuses on coordination and supramolecular chemistry, self-assembled metal complexes, macrocyclic ligands, and chemosensors for environmental and biological applications.

Ana María García-Deibe

Prof.ª Ana M. García-Deibe is a Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Her scientific career is dedicated to coordination and supramolecular chemistry, investigating metal-organic frameworks, self-assembled architectures, and the magneto-structural correlations of polymetallic and lanthanide-based systems.

Julio Corredoira-Vazquez

Dr. Julio Corredoira-Vázquez is a postdoctoral researcher in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and the Materials Institute (iMATUS). He earned his PhD from USC in 2022, with research centered on lanthanide complexes as potential molecular magnets. His scientific expertise encompasses coordination and supramolecular chemistry, single-molecule magnets, and luminescent thermometry. Throughout his career, he has expanded his international experience through research stays at institutions such as the University of Sussex and the University of Aveiro.

Paula Oreiro-Martínez

PhD student

Paula Oreiro-Martínez is a PhD student in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).
